Volunteer
Are you local to Akron, PA? We often have a variety of volunteer opportunities at our office, both regularly scheduled needs and one-time projects that come up. This can include preparing bulk mailings or other print materials, helping with in-house printing projects (training required), cleaning, event preparations, and more.

Give
While we do make a small profit from the sales of our materials, over 75% of our yearly budget is funded by generous donors and foundations who the Lord leads to support our work. Donor funds help us cover costs like the production & printing of new resources, giveaway programs like our Church Plant Assistance Program, translation and distribution projects for our international licensing partners, and more. Translation Work
Most of the translations of BVI resources have been developed by volunteers who simply want to help make gospel-centered resources available to as many children’s ministry teachers as possible. Others are funded by grants and donors through our licensing agreements and partnerships. If you are fluent in another language and would be interested in helping translate teaching texts (and occasionally other materials) in your free time, please let us know! Familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar software is a bonus, as we often receive translations in Microsoft Word documents or other file types that need to be laid out and reformatted to match our standard printing format.

Freelance Illustration
Most of our illustration work for our published materials is done by our network of freelance artists, whom we contract out on a project-by-project basis. If you or someone you know is a talented digital artist who would be interested in illustrating Bible lessons, missionary stories, devotionals, and similar content, we’d love to hear from you and see examples of your work! Check out our style guide below for some information on what we ask of our artists and examples of the style of illustration we look for.
