Financial Accountability
As a faith-based non-profit, we are dedicated to being good stewards of the gifts the Lord gives us. A key part of that includes transparency and accountability in all areas of our ministry. With that in mind, if you have questions about how BVI uses funds or where those funds come from, we hope you find answers here!
Operating Expenses
We work hard to keep administrative expenses low, ensuring that the majority of our funding goes towards helping children see Jesus.
What kinds of projects do our programming funds go towards? Here are some examples from 2024-2025:
Outreach
3,000+ books from our Family Worship Series have been donated to children who participate in outreach programs from local ministries here in Pennsylvania, like Child Evangelism Fellowship, Bible2School, and Solid Rock Ministries.
Church Plants
4+ church plants (5 or fewer years of operation) have been supplied through the Church Plant Assistance Program with free or minimal-cost materials to help jumpstart their children’s ministry programs

Teachers
7 new illustrated, gospel-centered resources have been able to be written, illustrated, and printed to equip children’s ministry teachers around the world
Translations
7+ languages are represented in our active translation projects, including Portuguese, Spanish, Mongolian, Burmese, and Arabic
Organizational Revenue
While BVI does make a small profit from the sales of our materials, the majority of our programming is funded by individual donors & foundations.
Board of Directors
The ministry of BVI is supported by our board of directors. From doctors to small business owners and retirees, these individuals come from a variety of backgrounds and offer a diverse set of skills and knowledge. They help hold our team accountable and further the work of our organization. We are grateful for the time they volunteer out of their schedules to attend board meetings, offer advice and insight, help plan fundraising events, and more.
